Our story

It all started when Bosco (co-founder of Recall) was travelling in Pamplona. He received a text message reminding him of a medical appointment in Madrid that had been scheduled six months earlier. He didn’t remember it at all. He quickly called to cancel it, and the clinic rescheduled it for him without any problem.

 

When he went to the new appointment in Madrid, amazed by the text reminder, he asked the receptionist, somewhat curious: “How do you manage these reminders?”

 

The answer was as surprising as it was revealing. The receptionist pulled out an old Nokia and said: “We send them one by one, by hand, every day. It takes us an average of two hours to do it.”

 

Messages of 164 characters, with no confirmation links, no automation and frequent errors: crossed messages, incorrect data, and replies that were hard to manage…

 

Bosco thought it was an isolated case. But when he asked other clinics, the answer was unanimous: they all worked in the same way.

 

It was then that he spoke with his partner, co-founder of Recall and friend Eduardo, who comes from a long family tradition of doctors and researchers, and he confirmed that they too were still using that same method to confirm appointments with their patients.

 

That was the turning point. Both decided to transform that rudimentary, inefficient and error-prone system into a modern, useful solution focused on the real needs of clinics.

 

This is how the first prototype of Recall was born: a tool to automate appointment reminders, simplify communication with patients and ease the administrative workload of clinical staff.

 

After almost 10 years, Recall has never stopped evolving. Every module and feature has been designed in close collaboration with clinics themselves and their directors, listening to their needs, their real problems and their suggestions.

 

Today our purpose is clear: to help clinics become autonomous in managing their day-to-day operations with our conversational AI agent.

 

Today, Recall integrates smart automations, customisable workflows and technology based on artificial intelligence. In recent years we have even created an AI agent that confirms and reschedules appointments, handles emergencies and queries 24/7 and follows up with patients to deliver a better service, which in turn has a positive impact on your clinic’s revenue.
